The Council Foundation’s mission is to bring fresh, diverse talent into the brokerage sector by way of internships with member firms of [The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers](https://www.ciab.com/) (CIAB). In awarding the scholarships, an independent selection committee looks for candidates who have the potential to excel as leaders and contributors in the commercial insurance brokerage business sector. “It was a privilege to be surrounded by professionals who were willing to help and share their experience with me. I have gained so much knowledge during my internship and I’m excited to use that knowledge going forward in my career," shares Adedunni. "I am also very grateful and thankful to be one of the recipients of the CIAB scholarship. This award is very helpful as I continue in my education. Thank you to The Plexus Groupe for providing me with this opportunity.” Adedunni is one of 50 college students across the country who received a Council Foundation scholarship this year.  The Council Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable educational organization instituted by the Washington, D.C.-based Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers.
