Finalists for the 2017 awards, which recognize achievement in innovation by companies in Illinois and Wisconsin, were honored at a reception Tuesday night at the Westin Chicago River North Hotel.

Plexus Partner Mitchell Andrews was among the presenters at the EY reception on Tuesday. In his remarks, he noted the executives he has met throughout the Entrepreneur Of The Year selection process have placed a strong emphasis on human capital -- their people. As Andrews sees it, all firms must "continue this focus‎ for the success of the country."
