Tom Price (R-Ga.) as his nominee as secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). An orthopedic surgeon before taking up politics, the 62-year-old Price has represented Georgia's 6th Congressional District north of Atlanta since 2004. His appointment must be approved by the Senate. In a story published Wednesday by *Employee Benefit Adviser*, Plexus Partner Mitchell Andrews said the nomination of Price was a[positive step](http://www.employeebenefitadviser.com/news/industry-encouraged-by-trumps-hhs-secretary-selection-with-one-key-reservation). "\[H\]e understands our national dilemma as a physician, as a business man and someone who has looked to reduce the cost of delivering healthcare," Andrews told EBA. “We, \[the industry\] look forward to working with Rep. Price on reducing the cost of healthcare so we can deliver more affordable/quality coverage to our clients, and all Americans."
