The Plexus Groupe is thrilled to share that Allison Clark, one of our talented 2024 summer interns and senior at Texas Tech University, has been selected as a recipient of an academic scholarship for the 2024-25 school year, as announced by The Council Foundation.
"Allison has proven to be extremely professional, diligent, and intelligent. She has taken the internship very seriously and has been an asset to each team she has worked with, contributing greatly to each team," said Brenda Burke, VP, Client Executive at The Plexus Groupe. "At the end of each week, I have held debrief meetings with each team lead she worked with. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are thrilled that she has been awarded this much-deserved scholarship!"
The mission of The Council Foundation is to bring fresh, diverse talent into the brokerage sector. The scholarship program is a partnership between the Foundation and leaders of internship programs at The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers member firms. Member firms conduct their own review process and identify their most exceptional interns to be awarded he scholarship, with the goal of eventually bringing these students on full-time and/or retaining them in the commercial insurance brokerage sector.
"I was both excited and appreciative upon receiving the scholarship award," shared Allison Clark. "This support will significantly contribute to my future career objectives." Allison is one of 83 college students nationwide who received The Council Foundation scholarship this year.
